Haha..
I'll give you guys an update soon enough.
But heres a quick one.
I'll be working with Five Finger Death Punch on saturday, Mushroomhead is coming back too. Then on the 13th im with D12.. All at Jester's. whoot.. Foundation came through, They sounded great. For alot of you who may not know.. Foundation was fomerly FLAW. I'm glad im bringing this up on this site. Because its something people really need to think out before making a move in changing names.
Flaw, last year 420, sold out.. completely, any show they did, sold out. completely. As Flaw. They came back as Foundation... and it was sad. Not their show, but the amount of people. It was like their fanbase comletely died. Only because people didnt know who Foundation was. And the people who did know, morely just wanted to hear Flaw Songs through out the night, which got pretty annoying in my opinion, probably even in the bandmates' opinions too. They Spent Ten years as Flaw, and wanted to bring something new out. It was almost as if the fans wouldnt let them, eventually the crowd was like.. "Well damn, the new shit is effing awesome."
They completely did this own their own, promotions and everything. Stuff like that with out a label backing you, is very difficult, especially after coming off one underneath an extremely popular band name. It kinda makes you wanna go back home and re-do the numbers. It was their last show on the tour, and man they been through some hell, back to the van and traveling, flat tires, drunk drivers, y ou name it, they had to deal with it, they showed up late but still manage to get on stage in time ready to go, with out sound check. Awesome. Thats also something bands should be able to adapt to, sometimes youre not going to be able to soundcheck, most of the time its just the national act because of the small timeframe given between unloading and showing.
They played extra songs, they even did a song they hardly ever do but the crowd demanded it, and it was given. lol. Some of the extra songs were really new hush hush stuff too. Which was awesome because it was like a preview to songs that they werent looking for to be hits. or on radio. All in All they pulled through with an amazing show, don't let the numbers of the crowd scare you when its too high or too low, either way they spent their money for -you-.
