As a musician, constantly growing my skills as a guitar player, I find the need for a band. I have a singer, and he is great at what he does it is just that the main piece missing for me is a drummer. Currently I am using Beatbox and EZDrummer for drums. But I am passionate about what I do and I take my songwriting very seriously, so adding a drummer would open up the possibilities of live shows. Though my dad is an exeptional drummer, first of all he doesn't play metal but plays jazz, and second of all he is my dad. If an offer were ever made to play with me, I want a drummer who knows what he's doing and is commited.

Hey matt, you should try to find people to jam with. You're probably going to get that response out of everyone you ask. Jamming with musicians is awesome because mainly 1) you get to feel the chemistry with other musicians and 2) You'll build connections and friendships which is always important in this kind of industry.

Just keep putting yourself out there and jamming. I'm actually in the same boat as you right now, all you have to do is make time for it, and it'll fall into place.
