makeing a band
so last time i wrote about copywrite and today i aim to talk about getting your band together . this may seem like a weird way to order things but it IS logical . because if you have never written a song then you dont need to be in a band yet because you probly have nothing original to contribute to that band. so if you have got a few songs and a bunch of lil riffs in your head you need a band
. first you need to decide if you want one guitarist or two ... if you want two, find them both and have them sit down with you a few days and get familliar with them.... once you have a lil group together next step is to find a bass player ... you should find one that your rythm guitarist likes because they bo hand in hand. next is the most important part of a band ...the drums .... find someone that can play to whatever your band has written ... he must be able to emprovise and freestyle his own beats... and he has to get along with your bassist ...its important to practice alot as a band and have a schedual apoint a mutual freind as manager ...not a band member .... have the manager make a practice schedual.. and once you are fully saticefied w/ your sound and have developed your own shit...then get a singer and be verry harsh and picky when decideing because he is your voice to the general public what he writes can make or break a song so if you dont like it tell him/her...and last but not leats have fun with it because it can be the best or worst experience of your life. now of course this is just my ideal method and you dont have to create your band like this but i figured id give you my oppinion.
