active vs passive

for those who dont know it yet , a guitar can be active or passive . meaning it can have active or passive electronics .... chances are that you have a passive system ...this is fine but if you have an active system you probably kick more ass:P be warned though if your guitar needs a battery ....like most active guitars do, you should not use a solid state amp unless your trying to "blow it"...(thats what she said lol)... i recomend getting a tube amp because it is more able to controle the high output frequencys of an active guitar. "most often this will cost you but it will also last you a long time"...(thats what she said)
