Share 'music theory is...'

in my home town i am the best at what i do because i love what i do ... i love createing music ..improving my techneque and all that jazz, but when one of my "students" says " dude how the hell do you come up with these insane riffs" or"whos your inspiration?" i shake my head because its sad how the heavy metal music of today is all about "who you learned that from" its called origonality people.…
