Frustrating...

Whatever happened to writing good memorable music, and being helped out because of it. Im not one to often say whats good or bad. Music is music, but theres ALOT of bad music out there that seems to be popular...its not memorable at all in my opinion. and the people bending over backwards for a majority of these bands are wasting their time and money in the long run. Id rather have one or two solid memorable bands that have potential for longevity as a band and as song writers then have a ton of the same band that only has a limited ability in catering towards larger crowds. Ive noticed not as many bands have gotten signed in the last couple of years...and there's a whole lot of bands. Its a whole lot of bands not writing good songs.

Im trying to do everything for my band that a label would do without the label...we have Merch, we have a retail ready, with barcode packaged EP, that i can honestly say we are proud of as a band. our name is currently processing its trademark, our music has been submitted to the copyright office...we have a new van and trailer, not to mention road ready equipment. All this has taken the last 5 years to do and we are all only 21. we have press kits and EPK's. All thats left is to tour.

And these "tour" agencie's are just being Flakes. Its so frustrating. Yea we could do it DIY. But we have in the past and its difficult. really really difficult.

SO, if anyone on here has some kinda of contact to an agency, tour booking, etc we'd appreciate any direction we can get...
