The Goods

Coyle Media is an experienced consulting firm working with musicians and artists who aim to become successful in the entertainment business.

Who's Behind It All

Dallas Coyle helped produce three God Forbid records, toured across the world and with the help of Century Media have sold over 300,000 records and counting worldwide.

There were many missteps on that long road. Money wasted, opportunities missed, poor decisions made. Coyle Media exists to help you avoid these familiar bumps in a very long road. If you're serious, the road will be long. But it doesn't have to be painful.

From Dallas

"Coyle Media is here to give you piece of mind about your direction and focus. You won't waste time and money on things that don't make sense for you. There are certain steps to take in the industry. Walking before running. Sometimes it's hard for us to recognize those steps because you remain so close to your process. 350 bucks can save you 35,000!"
- Dallas Coyle, Coyle Media

Testimonials:

"Dallas was a huge help when it came to understanding the state of the industry and how not to sell ourselves short.  His advice was invaluable and helped us make our own educated decisions."

Misha Mansoor - Periphery and Bulb

"We'd like to thank Dallas and Coyle Media for taking the time out of their schedules to listen to what we have to offer. The knowledge we received from Dallas on the industry, image, and song writing has changed my band dramatically. We approached the writing process with a much better understanding of song structuring and composition, making the new music heads and shoulders above our previous offerings. The knowledge possessed by the Coyle brothers is invaluable, and the fact that they are willing to share it with others is admirable. A consultation with Coyle Media will definitely be honest and will absolutely help your band... if you don't suck. A tip: During your consultation remember these 3 things: Listen, Learn, Rock!!"

-Derrin, Sarin (Hampton, Virginia)

"The production process with Dallas went smoothly. He brought years of experience, an excellent tonal ear, and a congenial personality to our project. Firm yet never forceful, and able to gracefully forgo his own ideas for that of other members. Dallas has an uncanny ability for easily bringing useful, musical, ideas to the table while maintaining the core sound of the project. all in all the recording benefit from it and we still sounded like ourselves, only better!"

Borrowing Ideas and talking shit... metalsucks.net blog

I haven’t done a blog in a while because the last blog I did really got me thinking about the mentality of people in the metal scene. Most particularly, the mentality of shit talking. We’re all guilty of it. I admitted to shit talking Bring Me The Horizon in magazines over in Europe when I was in God Forbid. I never heard them at that point. But now, I dig them and I feel pretty stupid for slagging them.

In my last blog I mentioned my excitement for the band Eryn Non Dae and how I was going to… Continue

Working On New Music (The Lesson)

Everyone out there should really find a creative outlet in any way they can. Whether it's writing, music, acting, fucking... whatever. It's healthy and it can put you in a good place. Life hands us twists and turns and in those moments the only one you can help is yourself. Look inward for the answer, not outward.

No one will understand you so now one can truly give you what you want. Don't deny yourself the capacity of doing something great. Yes, try. You may fail but you have to soldier on. T… Continue

Live show, putting a band together and toon porn!

I wanted to turn you guys on to some new music I’ve been rocking… drum roll… Eryn Non Dae from France.

I found out about these fucks through Metalsucks.net. I’ll tell you, this shit is great. I listened to it three times in one day. It’s like Neurosis, Meshuggah, and Coalesce. I’m loving it. My new project will definitely be borrowing some of their ideas.

The new Behemoth. Nuff said. It’s Behemoth. The whole album kicks ass. Also, Colin Richardson killed on the mix. It sounds amazing and feroc… Continue

Gabriel

RabbleRabbleRabble!

I soon hope to upload a song, attain some new demo cd artwork, and to practice as often as possible. My goal being that soon, I can finally get something out. A good, solid, stable build is always better than a rapid toss into succession. You'll then become succeeded. See?

Stayin' alive. Soon.
